About Bryn Ifan

Notes from your hosts, Gwynn and Callie –
Bryn Ifan Camping
– a Haven for Nature Enthusiasts
Bryn Ifan farm has been in Gwynn's family for two generations, and Gwynn, who grew up in North Wales pursued a career as a professional photographer in London where he met Callie. They returned to North Wales to raise their family. Callie is from Cornwall and works as an illustrator and printmaker. She works from her studio on the farm producing work inspired by the local wildlife and countryside that surrounds their home.

Where it all started
20 years ago Gwynn and Callie returned to North Wales from their busy lives in London and moved to Gwynn's family Farm in 2014. In 2021 they opened Bryn Ifan Camping with a determination to provide a great eco camping experience for nature lovers, hikers and families seeking a peaceful retreat and a connection to the Welsh countryside. Gwynn and Callie's passion for the region and their attention to detail shines through, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for their guests.
Our story
We're excited to welcome you to Bryn Ifan...
We're so lucky to live in such a beautiful place and we're excited to share it with our guests.
We've poured our hearts into creating a space where you can connect with nature, chill out by the fire and enjoy the magic of the Welsh countryside. Our nine camping pitches, nestled in a wildflower meadow, offer breathtaking views of mountains, rolling hills, and the nearby coast.

At Bryn Ifan Camping, we like to blend in with the beauty of our surroundings.

Our toilets and showers have been designed by Gwynn with a modern rustic feel. Enjoy showering with a view of the trees and sky above you. Our large campers barn (formerly cow shed) provides essential amenities like a fridge/freezer, washing-up facilities, and indoor cooking and eating space as well as a great place to chill out, read or make art. We have a vintage table tennis table, table football, and air hockey to keep everyone entertained, especially on rainy days.
We're always keen to give our campers tips on great places to visit that might not necessarily be in the guide books.
We're always delighted to recommend hidden gems, suggest hiking trails, and locations that aren’t necessarily on the beaten tourist track.
We strive to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
We love to share this lovely spot with campers from all over the UK and beyond...
Whether you're an avid hiker, a nature enthusiast, or simply someone seeking a peaceful retreat, we invite you to come and experience our little corner or North Wales.
