Welcome to Bryn Ifan Camping

Our Location

Perched in an elevated wildflower meadow, Bryn Ifan enjoys one of the most spectacular settings in North Wales — with Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) rising dramatically to one side and the shimmering coastline stretching out on the other.

The site sits perfectly between the mountains and the sea, surrounded by open countryside and abundant wildlife. And when night falls, our deliberately low lighting reveals something truly special — vast, unpolluted skies packed with stars that most of us have forgotten exist.

Family Friendly

At Bryn Ifan, children don't just visit nature — they play in it. Our car-free site means kids roam freely while parents relax, safe in the knowledge that the only traffic is the occasional sheep.

The meadow has everything young adventurers need — a vintage tractor to clamber on, a fallen tree to conquer, space to kick a ball, and a campfire and picnic area for those magical evening moments. When the Welsh weather does its thing, the barn comes into its own with vintage table games to keep everyone happy.

Our Facilities

Bryn Ifan is proudly eco — but that doesn't mean compromising on comfort. Gwynn's individually designed rustic toilet sheds are a touch of genius!

Our brand new Mira showers are piping hot and come with eco-friendly soaps and conditioners. Look up and you can see the trees, it might just be the most memorable shower you've ever had.

When the clouds roll in off the mountains, our huge communal campers barn becomes the heart of the site — a place to share stories, and let the kids loose on the vintage table games.

About us

Bryn Ifan Camping sits in an elevated wildflower meadow on the edge of Snowdonia, offering one of Wales' most breathtaking views — Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) on one side, the glittering sea on the other, all from your tent door.

With just nine pitches, it's an intimate, car-free retreat where families can truly switch off. Rustic hot showers, flushing toilets, and a communal barn mean you have everything you need — and nothing you don't.
